About the Jewelry

I take pride in LauraAnne Designs "Handmade Beaded Jewelry Designs" using quality materials, and paying strict attention to detail & designing with passion, & creating works of Wearaboe ART  with the use of colors, textures, as I create each piece to touch your sense & wanting to own a piece of art for your own.

As I travel I look for beautiful Semi Precious Stones, & I collect Hand Blown or Handmade Glasses & Crystals for Necklaces  & Bracelets  for Beaded Jewelry Designs that are unusual  & striking from all over the world. 
 

I use silver, gold-filled, & copper wire for wrapping stones or glass pendants. In my  hand designs I use sterling silver, silver plated, pewter, 10k gold filled, gold plated, copper, & plated metal (toggles closures and spacer beads of the same materials).

Many of my pieces have Beautiful Swarovski, Chinese, & Czech crystals & these are of high quality, giving a beautiful glimmer & shine to my  Handcrafted Beaded  Necklaces & Bracelets Jewelry Designs Wearable Art. . Other pieces are made with fire-polished, faceted glass which has the look of crystal.  Chinese Crystals are quite beautiful and give a peice ofr jewelry a different kind of sparkle than Swarovski Crystals do, which I still love.  It  has been interesting to add different dimensions to my wearable art, & I continue to have a passion for my designing, changing the look from piece to piece using different kinds of crystals & faceted glasses.

There are many kinds of semi-precious stones available, and depending on how they are polished, they can look shiny or have a low sheen/matte finish and they make for beautiful jewelry pieces. I strive to create unusual looks.

Most of my Handmade Beaded Art Jewelry Necklaces & Bracelets Designs are on stainless steel wire that is nylon coated for ease of wear & strength.

My pieces are broken down into colors groups for easier viewing: Necklaces & sets (necklaces and bracelets).

I have also added chinese Crystals to my line-there colors and brillance is wonderful.  they come in many different shapes and aren't quite as costly as Swarovski, but  I still used Swarovski Crystals in my Couture pieces, and Bracelets and whenever I want a special bling, but Chinese Crystasls allow me to use more Crystals and save you some $.  I have been finding some wonderful Czech Glass Beads.  These come in different styles & colors. They are either  firepolished,  hand cut,  pressed or molded, cathredral cut giving them an exquisite look. Their colors when mixed &  faceted  add demension & life to any jewelry to make it a more beautiful Wearable Art Jewelry.
